Arthur Cruttenden Mace

Arthur Cruttenden Mace (1874-1928) was an English Egyptologist who began his career excavating with W. M. Flinders Petrie. Examples of his finds are in many museums in the United Kingdom.[1]

Death

It has been suggested[2] that Mace may have died as a result of the Curse of the pharaohs. A similar suggestion has been made about the death of George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who died in 1923.
